Expanding our reach with guard towers

So currently we are looking at expanding our area a little bit. This can be done by building guard towers.

Pro's: Safety, expanded territory (and we never want to leave the warm comfort of the Freedom Kingdom do we?
Cons: Extra guards mean extra upkeep. So get on your knees and start salvaging already!

Messing and myself have cleared a small patch of land on the west coast of the north lake. The next tower will be built on the small strip of land that's lovingly known as "The Anus". Afterwards, it would be nice to build two towers towards the mining complex. Towers, towers everywhere!
