The Traders of Sovran Harbor

Hey guys,

To experiment with and stimulate the trade on our map and server I want to write a message to post on Trade channel (one of the chat tabs in game) offering our services.

It will most likely not immediately be succesful but hopefully some of the other folks on the server will catch on. We have to stimulate the economy together, maybe that will intice others to accept our services. I will also ask Brew to help us out with ideas and maybe some deals with the beginning. He is part of the group that set up the server after all, so he should give us some leeway when setting up trade.. It will be of benefit to us all.

So I'm thinking about this message:

Greetings from the Traders of Sovran Harbor. We are a small group of settlers looking for trade opportunities by which we hope to stimulate the growth of the economy and relationships between the different villages of (name of map). Although we are part of the Freedom Faction, we are willing to trade with any and all.

We are all quite new to the game but our lack of direct experience is outmatched by our ambition. So at the moment we are offering lumber, ore and rock. We could either trade for coins or other resources. At the moment we are not directly interested in making a profit. We do hope to strengthen the ties between our people and the interaction between the players of this great server. So contact us and let us set up some trade!

FYI, if this message is okay, I will send this message twice every hour. We should be careful not to spam!

The main goal is to get some interaction going. We should not expect to make a lot of money in the beginning, since there is not a lot of physical money going around yet.. That will change with the coming months!
